Eugene Loring's voice is easily intelligible overall, but the volume of Olga Maynard's voice is low, and the questions from the audience are almost completely unintelligible.

Olga Maynard introduces Eugene Loring and gives a brief biography of him, including his eventual move to California, where he is now the head of the Dance Department at UCI [University of California, Irvine]. Eugene Loring tells an anecdote about Tallulah Bankhead; speaks about how this series of lectures came about; and his childhood, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin including anecdotes about his family, himself, and others [ends abruptly in the middle of an anecdote].Streaming audio file 2, May 15, 1973 (approximately 33 minutes).
