A look at the work of puppeteer, painter, and concert pianist Marshall Izen as seen through the eyes of his 14-year-old nephew Larry Abrahams. Izen performs several hand ballets: a sequence set to Beethoven's Symphony no. 1 (last movement), The tortoise and the hare, and Homage to Picasso. The latter combines a hand ballet and graphics set to a Bach fugue for 2 pianos.
