Description
Preceded by an introduction by Marian Horosko and a fashion show/demonstration on practice clothes narrated by Horosko and Bonnie August, representing Danskin. Awards ceremony excerpts include the opening speech by William Como, who also introduces Raoul Gelabert and Bella Lewitzky; Judith Jamison's introduction of Mikhail Baryshnikov; and the acceptance speeches of the three honorees. In conclusion, Baryshnikov is seen dancing his solo from the Don Quixote pas de deux in a film clip from The Turning Point.
