Introduction by Patricia Kerr Ross. Holm discusses the state of dance in Germany during her youth, noting the influence of Rudolf Laban's scientific approach to movement. She reminisces about studying and dancing with Mary Wigman. In recounting her experiences as performer, choreographer, and teacher in the U.S., she touches upon her work in New York at the Wigman School, in her own studio, and on Broadway, and her recent activities in Colorado Springs.
