Ink sketches and holograph notes on stiff card, parodying "The house that Jack built," concerning a burglary at the Clemens house. Accompanied by a picture postcard of the house, "Mark Twain's Residence, Redding, Conn.": "Innocence [sic] at Home" cancelled and replaced by "Stormfield." A letter to W. T. H. Howe from Isabel Lyon, the sketch's original owner, about its origin and the burglary, November 15, 1938. 1 leaf.
