Extent: 1 audiotape reel (approximately 27 min.) : acetate, half-track, ips not specified ; 7 in.
Sound quality is fair to good. There are two short breaks in the narrative, and the first approximate 11:45 minutes and final 2:25 minutes of the interview are marred by extraneous noise due to the fact that it is being recorded in a restaurant.
Description
Interview conducted by Marian Horosko, as host, with Ted Shawn, primarily at the Russian Tea Room restaurant in New York City, for broadcast on radio station WNCN-FM, New York on its series Profiles, in 1964. Horosko states that the program is to include an interview with Martyn Green, but the recording contains only the interview with Shawn.
