Notes
Statement of responsibility: "Dom. pronti ; Disegnó e incise 1779"--printed on border.
Content: The Arch of Titus was finished in 81 A.D. Emperor Domitian dedicated it to his brother, the emperor Titus, to commemorate his sibling's siege and sack of Jerusalem during the Jewish Revolt of 66-73 A.D. Carved reliefs on the arch show the triumph of the victorious Titus, with soldiers carrying the sacred vessels, lamp stand and treasures looted from the Temple in Jerusalem.
