Ownership: Two coats of arms. Gift to Spencer in 1941 from Mary Stillman Harkness (Mrs. Edward S. Harkness).
Content: 16 long lines per page, ruled in red ink. Prickmarks and catchwords visible.
Content: 2- and 3-line blue and red initials on gold fields. 4-line blue initials on multi-colored fields. 1-line blue initials with red penwork, gold initials on red/blue fields. Linefillers, "rubrics" in blue. Yellow daubs as placemarkers.
Content: 40 miniatures. 14 historiated initials. Some borders include grotesques.
