Description
Leida Snow and John Ogle interview American singer-songwriter and musician Roberta Flack. Flack talks about her professional background and career that she switched from classical singer to blues, folk, pop and jazz singer. She also talks about the release of her new album Blue lights in the basement (1977), and about her plans to produce her own album (Roberta Flack, released in 1978). Various recordings of songs are performed by Flack during the program such as "Killing me softly with his song" that won the 1973 Grammy Award for Record of the Year.
